Graduate Business Analyst

Vertical Plus has a roadmap to delivery a number of important E Commerce technological developments that it will use to support our current clients and to further develop E Commerce growth. We now require a graduate business analyst with technical knowledge and experience of E Commerce to help us to deliver this roadmap.
We have a business model where we grow when our retail partners grow - so having great people with an eye for solutions that work is everything for us.
The ideal candidate is a team player who will be responsible for working with our rapidly expanding business areas. Specific responsibilities include analysing technical business processes, tracking our customer journeys and reporting on ROI of our business investments.
The BA will be involved in engaging with business stakeholders, users, and collaborate with internal projects. You will be working in an Agile culture to Agile processes and practices.
The BA will advise the company on best outcomes for a particular business problem. The BA is also a facilitator. They will support colleagues from across the company to resolve business issues and put appropriate solutions in place. Their work will have significant impact and the role will expose you to working on a range of projects.
- Review and Analyse the business processes that create ROI for account managers and retail partners
- Analyse customer journeys and processes through our E Commerce systems
- Work with technical front end and back end developers to help develop websites and online systems
- Develop tracking systems to report on ROI and develop new systems that work more effectively
When the company identifies a technical issue requiring a solution, the Business Analyst will look deeply into the situation. The BA will hold discussions with all stakeholders, including anyone in the company who is affected by a business problem, such as an Account Manager or Project Manager. The BA will ensure an in-depth understanding of the requirements and the they will suggest appropriate solutions.
The BA will collaborate with E Commerce programmers in order to contribute to technology modernisation and operational efficiency. Working in an Agile manner, and in partnership with Agile Process Manager the BA role will partner with V+ staff members to define the requirements, test and implement specific work.
The BA will review, analyse and evaluate E Commerce solutions and systems to establish a clear picture of user needs. This will include documentmenting requirements, defining scope and objectives and formulating systems to deliver overall business strategies.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Strong technical skills and a familiarity of online project management software
- Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
- A good understanding of information technology
