The Service Sales Manager (SSM) is responsible for scoping and selling ZScaler Professional Services (PS) packages and developing our service business. We are looking for an experienced services salesperson who has the capability to perform technical scoping of engagements and excels in positioning the value of ZScaler PS. SSMs assist our customers’ mapping of business needs with ZScaler product licenses at the executive level and negotiating SOW terms and fees. You are accountable for meeting Professional Services booking quota and are not involved during delivery.

You will partner with the license sales team and lead with scoping, selling, and positioning of ZScaler Professional Services with the goal of making our customers happy by accelerating their time to value. You would collaborate with the Service Delivery team, responsible for a smooth transition to the architects, and collaborate with the Customer Success ecosystem to ensure deployment meets what was sold in the BoM. You exhibit confidence and a deep understanding of emerging security practices when solving business problems. You’ll display certainty in driving requirements, estimating, scoping, and selling proposals. You can identify critical issues with ease while pushing creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industry practices and customer mindsets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Articulate and sell the value of Services within prospective and existing accounts enterprise customers

Work in conjunction with RSMs, Sales Engineers, and Architects to define and integrate the services solution into the comprehensive ZScaler proposal

Own Services bookings quota in the assigned territory with attach rate targets

*

Translate high-level product proposals into an implementable technical solution

*

Execute technical scoping activity with prospective customers and produce proposals, Statement of Work, and resource plans

*

Plan and lead teams of resources involved in scoping professional services for our most complex solutions and the largest customers.

Work with ZS partners on joint proposals and scoping to ensure success

*

Being recognized by our customers as a trusted advisor in product deployment

*

Assist buildout of methodologies, processes, offerings/services, and collateral
