Digital Marketing Systems Analyst/CRM Systems Manager - Microsoft365 - London & WFT Options

Central London, 2 days per week in the office - £43,000 to £48,000 plus excellent benefits

Our client is a leading independent media/TV production company renowned for delivering quality, ground-breaking and pioneering content around the world seek and experienced Digital Marketing Systems Analyst/CRM Systems Manager ideally with a good understanding of Microsoft365.

About the Digital Marketing Systems Analyst/CRM Systems Manager - Microsoft365 role:

This is a new and cross-functional role, working internally and with the company's client base. The successful candidates will sit within the Marketing team, but liaising and working closely with all other departments supporting data transformation, systems, and analytics.

An interest and knowledge of the marketing function within a business are required however this is fundamentally a technology-based role with the emphasis on the systems used within the team. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, it is a brilliant opportunity to have visibility of and learn about all areas of the television distribution business and get involved in a variety of change projects.

The current systems the team use include:

  • Client facing website;
  • Event management and sales app;
  • Secure screening portal;
  • CRM system (Microsoft365) for account and programme management;
  • Marketing & events App (Microsoft365);
  • Contract management system;
  • Cloud-based video storage and distribution solution.

Core responsibilities for the Digital Marketing Systems Analyst/CRM Systems Manager - Microsoft365 will include:

  • Working with other teams within the business who are responsible for the design and running of the systems;
  • Day to day running of the systems and management of any issues that arise from a marketing team point of view;
  • Main point of contact for the marketing and press teams where all systems queries are concerned;
  • Responsible for all data management that arises within the marketing team;
  • Ensuring we have the best possible solutions, updating where required and suggesting improvements and new ways of working to maximise efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Actively collaborating with other teams in the business to improve the way we work together with the allotted systems;
  • Working with the marketing & press team to ensure all their needs have been heard, discussed and briefed other depts or external suppliers; and
  • Assisting with trade events where technology assistance is required both with software and the installation of event hardware.

Client-facing website duties for the Digital Marketing Systems Analyst/CRM Systems Manager - Microsoft365:

  • Point of contact for any technical issues, confident dealing with suppliers for quick responses;
  • Working with internal and external teams to ensure the smooth integration and continued communication between the systems;
  • Point of contact for company and client registration queries;
  • Continually striving to improve the website and find more efficient ways to promote our content; and
  • Ensuring brand guidelines are adhered to.

Secure portal duties for the Digital Marketing Systems Analyst/CRM Systems Manager - Microsoft365:

  • Ensuring all technical issues are dealt with promptly; and
  • Liaising with external suppliers on all updates and problems.

Cloud-based video storage and distribution solution duties for the Digital Marketing Systems Analyst/CRM Systems Manager - Microsoft365:

  • Liaising with internal operations team on all developments and any issues that arise;
  • Ensuring the marketing data currently in the system is cleaned and kept up to date; and
  • Informing the marketing team on best practice to ensure clean data is entered

CRM system (Microsoft365) for account and programme management & Marketing & events App (Microsoft365) duties for the Digital Marketing Systems Analyst/CRM Systems Manager:

  • Attending all meetings and feeding back to Head of Marketing and Head of Events;
  • Liaising with the development team on all tech issues, developments, and implementation suggestions;
  • Working with the marketing team on the successful implementation of the marketing app and researching innovative ways to improve the way we use it; and
  • Point of contact for the sales teams regarding all marketing related functions, highlighting the importance of clean data and working with the sales coordinators to ensure client records and segmentation fields are kept up to date.

The ideal duties for the Digital Marketing Systems Analyst/CRM Systems Manager - Microsoft365 candidate must have the following:

  • Demonstrable experience, in a similar role managing websites, CRM databases and other content management systems;
  • Highly organised, logical thinker and exceptional eye for detail;
  • Ability to explain complex technical information in a clear and understandable way to people with no tech knowledge;
  • Champions new ways of working and always striving to improve current systems and ways of working;
  • A love for data, technology and have a desire to help a busy marketing team reach their objectives through the smooth running of the systems they work with;
  • Be highly organised, with good time management skills and able to prioritise workload
  • Thrive within a fast paced organisation;
  • Sound written communication, including the ability to write concise content summaries;
  • Deep understanding of a wide range of technology systems, and an aptitude for learning new systems;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all internal stakeholders and external suppliers;
  • Confident communicating with senior management;
  • Confident dealing with a range of suppliers;
  • Display strong initiative, problem solving and resourcefulness;
  • Ability to be self-sufficient and also work as a team player;
  • Excellent Excel skills; comfortable with managing large datasets and using lookup functions;
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and PowerApps a bonus but not essential; and
  • Ability to travel to markets and work flexibly to accommodate APAC and US offices as and when required.
