Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst will be working as part of the audit function to review and analyse management information (MI) and produce gap analysis, trend reports and bespoke financial reporting.

As a Financial Analyst you will be responsible for analysing, documenting and identifying opportunities for HealthTrust Europe to improve the recovery of revenue through more effective spend management and will support the creation of financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal controls to identify financial strengths and weaknesses.

Financial Analyst Responsibilities:

Reviewing uploaded supplier spend information, conducting gap analysis on supplier accounts and report findings
Supporting supplier audits to establish an accurate record of sales and validates this against contract timeframes and spend / prices identified in member account payable and /or purchase order data sets
Communicating analytical outputs to stakeholders, including a clear explanation of key metrics, expenditure trends, revenue acquired, variance from forecasts, opportunities identified and any gaps or issues requiring resolution
Presenting outputs of financial analysis and plans of action to senior management, internal teams and external entities where required
Identifying opportunities to increase MI
Monitoring and tracking revenue risk via the use of reports
Carrying out risk assessments on MI that goes into risk
Using Power BI reports to identify where there are risk categories and present solutions
Conducting regular meetings with contract owners to discuss potential revenue risk
Supporting the upload of correct MI from suppliers and educate suppliers to self-load
Providing spend analysis and commentary for the VP of Finance on trends
Conducting supplier assessments
Ensuring activities adhere to all established policies and procedures and standards of business conduct.
Financial Analyst Requirements:

Essential:

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Good organisational skills; ability to prioritise tasks; effective time management capabilities due to multiple deadlines
Excellent oral, written skills and presentation skills
Possess developed interpersonal skills to work in a high profile and fast-paced team environment
Extensive knowledge and understanding of spreadsheets
Use of Microsoft Office
Desirable:

Salesforce experience
SIS experience
Power BI experience
