The Data Entry/Funder will be responsible for managing and working a queue of deals by reviewing and verifying automobile loan applications. The Data Entry/Funder will communicate with loan applicants and dealerships regarding the loan application process while providing excellent service to dealers and customers to ensure loans are funded in an accurate and timely manner.


Data Entry/Funder Responsibilities:



  • Audit contract packages, review documents for accuracy and identify any discrepancies

  • Communicate and interact with loan applicants through process of funding by conducting interviews, employment and residence verification

  • Responsible for verifications of employment, insurance, references, residence, and other required stipulations; Income verification and calculation

  • Clear understanding of company policies, procedures and practices

  • Accurately and effectively communicate with dealerships, reps, customers, underwriters and management

  • Take inbound phone calls in relation to deal status

  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and business policies and procedures

  • Ensure the achievement of all funding objectives including volume, turn time, legal and procedural compliance

  • Create and maintain loan application files and database

  • Maintain confidentiality of customer loan information

  • Maintain a cooperative and productive work environment

  • Perform other duties as may be assigned


Data Entry/Funder Requirements:



  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required

  • Experience with automotive contracts a plus

  • Proficiency in Excel and Word, and an aptitude for learning new programs

  • Effective communication and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail

  • Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks

  • Highly disciplined and organized, with critical thinking skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and to work independently as well with others

  • Must be a multi-tasker, self-starter
