I am actively recruiting a Test Manager to start a 6 month contract in the Public Sector. The role requires to lead and manage testing activities during the implementation of an IT Service Management platform, ServiceNow. This will include leading and coordinating functional, non-functional, transition and user acceptance testing.
The Test Manager will be responsible for the creation and execution of the test plan and granular test scripts, including documenting results with a high degree of accuracy. This position provides the opportunity to optimise the testing approach and to make key decisions relating to testing within the context of the delivery environment. The Test Manager will be responsible for managing two Test Analysts.
This position is inside of IR35.
Lead test activities for the ServiceNow implementation and integrations end to end
Deliver test plans, test scripts and test reports to a high standard
Lead manual testing and functional, non-functional, transition and user acceptance testing throughout phases of the ITSM implementation project
Responsible for the creation and execution of the test plan and granular test scripts, documenting the expected results with a high degree of accuracy
Ensure all failed tests are both accurately reported, acknowledged, and escalated as appropriate to the Service Integrator, project team and stakeholders and are cycled through to resolution in a timely fashion
Good understanding of ITIL
Ability to define the test scope for the project based on a risk-based approach
