Senior Financial Analyst- Lewisville, TX

Reports financial status by preparing and analyzing financial plans, forecasts, and reports.
Travel as necessary.


  • Work closely with operations and senior management team to perform monthly financial analysis along with updating monthly package to Board

  • Work closely with operations and senior management team to assist with development of annual operating budgets

  • Assist with updating and maintaining forecast models including 3 and 5 year plans

  • Tracks financial status by monitoring and explaining variances from plan or forecast

  • Determines financial status by comparing and analyzing plans and forecasts with actual results

  • Improves financial status by analyzing results and variances; identifying trends; recommending actions

  • Work with Business Development team to develop acquisition models that include business valuation metrics such as discounted cash flow, net present value and earnings multiples

  • Increases productivity by developing automated applications; eliminating duplications; coordinating information requirements

  • Provides information to management by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports; making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations

  • Create and maintain models and reports based on internal databases and third party information

  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations

  • Accomplishes finance and organization mission by completing related results as needed

  • Support integration of acquisitions into the operations and financial accounting process

  • Support Programs by responding promptly and accurately to inquiries

  • Support the annual financial audit process and special audits during the year

  • Remain composed in a stressful environment and deal with frequent deadlines and multiple priorities

  • Follow instructions and use critical thinking skills to make decisions

  • Comply with internal financial controls, policies and procedures

  • Comply with BayMark policies and procedures, Compliance Policy and Code of Ethics

  • Participates and contributes to the organization's strategic plan and the establishment of annual goals and budgets

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting

  • Prior experience performing financial analysis responsibilities including budgets, forecasts and variance analysis (5+ years)

  • Solid quantitative and qualitative analysis skills with advanced experience in Excel and Excel Modeling

  • Experience with Great Plains and associated reporting tools preferred (such as FRX and Management Reporter) preferred

  • Prior experience with acquisition modeling and due diligence including IRR, NPV, and break-even analysis, preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • CPA or MBA, preferred

  • VBA and/or SQL experience, preferred

  • Prior healthcare experience, preferred

  • High capacity for strategic thought and the ability to solve complex business problems

  • Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executive, managers, and subject matter experts

  • Strong attention to detail in analytical assessments; experienced in developing and maintaining high quality reports and assessments

  • The ability to work independently and operate effectively in a cross-functional environment

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and manage time in a deadline-driven environment

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience required, preferably in private equity

  • Ability to multi-task and handle large volume of detail work accurately and efficiently and meet deadlines

  • Compliance with accepted professional standards and practices

  • Satisfactory criminal background check
