Scientific Computational Architectural Design Lead - Brussels, Belgium - English speaking PART TIME (16 hours a week)

One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a Scientific Computational Architectural Design Lead.

This is a part time role of 16 hours a week.

Please find some details below:

Accountable for exploring and documenting computational architectural needs aligned with analytical teams across Early Solutions to develop an appropriate information architecture design. Working with appropriate teams to develop a strategic technical plan and with the project management team to enable the delivery of a state-of-the-art research computing platform.

Undertake detailed analysis of the computation architecture requirements across Analytical Teams towards developing a strategic infrastructure investment design in order to support the medium and longer term demands of these teams.

Ensure alignment with IT and analytical team's investment in current computational platforms, information management standards, security models, data classification standards and logical data models

To provide Design Authority for implementation of the Analytical Computational Information Architecture.

Considerations:

The business requirements for data processing and reporting as expressed by the roles of the analytical community and resultant expectations for the accessibility and quality of the data, as well as an appreciation of the differential needs for exploratory vs productionized computation.

The interactions with other strategies such as existing processes, applications, infrastructures and Business Intelligence needs.

To keep abreast of emerging trends in data integration and design technologies and integrate them into the target architectures when appropriate

Qualifications/Expectations:

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or similar discipline

Track record in successful architecture and design projects - in with a focus on delivering R&D solutions.

Relevant Pharmaceutical Research domain experience and/or exposure to enterprise architecture in an IT organization

Track record in delivering business impact through IT enabled solutions.

Experience with all artefacts of modelling information in an enterprise

Strong influencing and communication skills.
