The Mahoning Valley Historical Society seeks an organized and articulate individual to be Administrative Assistant. This position supports administrative functions for MVHS senior staff members and the Board of Directors, under the supervision of the Executive Director.
The successful candidate will be an always courteous first contact for the public during open hours and at special programs and events. The position involves a variety of tasks in an organization that is team-oriented. This is a part-time position (20 hours per week). Good oral and written communication skills, organizational and typing skills, and proficiency with MS Office software are required. Prior experience with bookkeeping and non-profit management support is desirable.
