Senior Creative Director - Up to 65,000 - Temp to Perm - London

Experienced Senior Creative Director (FMCG) needed for exciting creative agency. Six months FTC, possibly T2P.


Our client is a very cool, independent creative agency set up by ex-network agency team. They specialise in building distinctive brands for the drinks industry. Working with some of the world's most prestigious drinks brands, they deliver brand ideas that creative a positive impact with consumers. Great agency, great brands, great culture, great work.


Reporting to the Managing Director - also truly great - this exciting role will really suit someone who's been at a bigger agency and is now looking to have greater influence in a smaller, more agile environment. Specifically, it will see you:
- Work with entire project/account team to understand the context and objectives of a client's challenge
- Receive briefs from the planning team that give direction for creative output (strategic direction, guiding principles/proposition, deliverables)
- Guide creative output - oversee creative sessions, their output and the task required to refine and finalise concepts and ideas
- Practical and involved throughout the creative and design process
- Selling creative work to clients both face to face and on the phone
- Proactively suggest new ideas/workstreams that will make the brand and account grow
- Take ownership and leadership of creative tasks. Delivering fully formed platform ideas and executions back to the wider team - visually, in writing and in person
- Oversee wider creative output, particularly from design team. Sign off work, ensure excellence within team (and freelancers/contractors used)
- Work with Finance Director to track utilisation and efficiency


The successful Senior Creative will have/be:
- 10-15 years experience including time spent in a similar role - FMCG background essential, drinks industry a bonus!
- Gravitas and the ability to inspire creativity in others
- Strong writing skills and the ability to write creatively and with flair, creating both consumer and trade facing copy
- The ability to evangalise creative work and sell-in (visually, in writing and in person) to the team and clients
- An established passion for the drinks market/culture
- A strong network of industry professionals
- Experience of managing teams and budgets
- Experienced in Adobe CC InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
