Business Analyst - Infrastructure - Networks - SD-WAN - Madrid - Spain
My client has launched an IT Network Transformation Project that will transform its global enterprise network that underpins all the company's technologies and digital capabilities. This next generation network will deliver an enhanced software-defined network (SDN) that securely connects all locations and employees to their systems and to each other.
The purpose of this role is to understand business requirements and processes and identify business technology and/or process & information opportunities, working with business and IT managers to develop and implement the IT Network Transformation programme solution within agreed time-lines and budgets.
. Establishing the contribution that technology can make to business objectives using a range of techniques such as eliciting and documenting requirements with stakeholders, conducting feasibility studies, producing business models, preparing business cases, usability requirements analysis and usability evaluation.
. Identifying and obtaining agreement on the requirements which will be most beneficial to the business.
. Identifying and raising issues impacting the execution of strategic/operational/project plans
. Demonstrating an analytical and systematic approach to problem solving.
. Communicating fluently orally and in writing, presenting complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
. Facilitating collaboration between stakeholders who share common objectives.
. Planning, scheduling, and monitoring work to meet time and quality targets and in accordance with relevant legislation and procedures.
. Rapidly absorbing new technical information and applying it effectively
Key skills include:
. Experience working within large, complex IT infrastructure projects - preferably with global IT networks
. Experience within an IT focused role.
. Experience of the project life cycle.
