My client is a family-owned business, established over 50 years ago. Employing over 7,000, with a turnover of 73 million, they sit within the top 2% of all cleaning and security providers. Their service portfolio includes cleaning, security, specialist and FM services which they deliver to 5,000 locations nationwide. They are passionate about delivering a personable and reliable service.
Due to expansion, they are now looking to recruit a Business Development Manager within their cleaning division, based from home covering the UK
The role involves taking responsibility for identifying opportunities for new contract cleaning/bundled services business in defined market sectors and negotiating contracts on behalf of the Company with maximum possible margins. Identifying and developing cross selling opportunities through introductions from existing Regional I Divisional Management.
The position requires you to develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new ventures with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals. You will be responsible for delivering all aspects of the tender process, from pipeline generation to client presentations, final negotiations and contract signing.
To apply you must have experience in selling soft services. You must be tenacious, persistent in developing new business relationships, a commercial thinker with the ability to understand and guide commercial negotiations, good interpersonal skills, be a clear and strategic thinker, able to offer new and innovative solutions.
In return you will receive a basic salary of £60,000, commission with an ote £85,000 uncapped, car or car allowance, pension and healthcare
