Technical Sales/Engineer - Renewable, AutoCAD, Boiler.

Job Description:

This role is split 80% office-based working in our order processing team and 20% technical support. This role is perfect for an individual that does not want to be out on site all day every day but still would like to have the flexibility.

You will support and help in the development of our sales partners in all products, service, and maintenance related areas, providing strong team spirit and match targets. You will be required to process quotes and proforma invoices for our Partners using our Finance system Sage 200. This will involve assisting Partners in locating the correct parts needed for their clients' boilers.

An important part of the Technical Sales job is to support the Area Sales Manager to achieve common sales targets, including business development as well as the development of Innasol's existing sales partners.

The role specifically includes:

  • Support the Area Sales Manager and act as a team in achieving common sales targets.
  • Answering all incoming telephone calls and directing the calls onto the right individuals, taking messages when necessary
  • Telephone support for the sales partners in technical knowledge and quality control.
  • Process quotes, proforma invoices and orders using our Sage200 finance system for our Partners.
  • Liaise with ETA on product changes and feed this information back to the team.
  • General ad hoc office duties, updating CRM system
  • Required to go to site to do investigations on boiler faults or to carry out services/breakdowns.
  • Ensure the required level of product knowledge, installation and application of the heating systems is maintained.
  • Recruiting and training sales partners.
  • Assisting new sales partners with the commissioning of their first renewable heating systems and providing technical input into their first installations.
  • Support the sales partners with fault finding.
  • Servicing of boilers and boiler investigations
  • Reporting back to the Office Manager/Technical Manager in a timely and frequent fashion.
  • Attend monthly technical team meetings at our Head Office.
  • Keeping up to date with products and competitors.
