A multi-national investment bank with offices in London are seeking a front line support specialist to work with their European user base numbering around 750. This position sits in the banks Front Office interacting directly with traders and the business as well as other IT teams requiring excellent communication and people skills working both onsite and remotely. A good understanding hardware and software and troubleshooting abilities are key. Please apply if you interested in joining a dynamic and forward thinking Fintech and have the below abilities.

Requirements

  • Desktop support experience (financial trade floor experience a plus)
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills
  • Exceptional customer services skills
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, including laptops, desktops and mobile devices
  • Knowledge of incident ticketing applications eg Service Now
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Windows 10 and Office versions 2010 and 2016
  • Strong understanding of collaboration tools including Webex, MS Teams, Skype, Sharepoint etc
  • Strong understanding of trader telephony solutions (eg IPC)
  • Knowledge of network printer installation, setup and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of virtualisation technologies, especially Citrix
  • Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager experience is a bonus
