For our Pharma client based in Basel, we are currently looking for an experienced

Export Order Management Specialist -100%

Background:

The EMEA Export Order Specialist is responsible for the Export business towards all EMEA countries to ensure on-time supply of goods to internal/external EMEA customers while safeguarding compliance with all Export & Foreign Trade laws and regulations.

Main Tasks:

  • Steer the Export Order Management Process (EOMP) via the Triangulation model
  • Execute the complete EOMP from order entry until billing including order confirmation, change management and order tracking
  • Perform the EOM return process including buy-backs and credit notes
  • Establish and obtain required export documentation (eg certificate of origin)
  • Maintain EMEA customer master data
  • Steer alignment of Export Orders with the production planning via the Central Relationship List (system relation between production site, material and customer)
  • Consult and provide guidance on all Export related matters to EMEA function, countries and customers

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Commercial training/degree with minimum 4 years of working experience in International Logistics
  • Excellent knowledge of core SCM processes including Export Order Management, Transport and Trade Compliance
  • Detailed expertise of SAP R3 (SD Module), Microsoft Office and other software packages
  • Good communication skills, team player, result oriented and keen on working in a cross cultural working environment
  • Ability to address and quickly resolve complex situations and set clear priorities
  • Analytical and creative mind
  • Fluent in English, additional languages preferred
