Our client is a local independent charity and the only organisation uniquely focused on improving the natural environment of Somerset for the benefit of wildlife and people, and one of 46 such Charitable Trusts across Britain.

They champion Somerset's stunning, diverse, and important natural environment, making the case for nature to the public and politicians. They protect wildlife and lead the recovery of the environment by example, including on our nature reserves.

With the increasing awareness and challenge of the ecological and climate change emergencies now is a critical but exciting time to join this Charitable Trust. As Nature Based Solutions Manager you will be at the heart of supporting the delivery of the Wilder Somerset 2030 Strategy; a new and bold 10-year plan to tackle these major issues.

You will be at the forefront of their new approach for nature's recovery; working with a variety of partners, communities and stakeholders on projects that promote and encourage nature to help store more carbon, absorb more water during extreme flood events and allowing species populations to recover, grow and move across our landscapes.

Closing date: Midday Monday 5th July 2021
Interviews: Week commencing 12th July 2021 via Zoom
