Power Electronic Engineer with successfull experience in any Electric Power Distribution high middle voltage, railway application... You should have a MSc or PhD, doctorate in Electrical Enginering Power Electronic Engineering and speak fluent English and at least basic French You can demonstrate a strong interest experience for Industrial power converters, as you will be working in a team which provides technical support to ongoing projects as well as future projects. This role is about studying, dimensioning and specification of electric equipment and power converters (rectifiers, inverters, transformers, filters, etc.) related to railway traction application according to relevant standards (EN, IEC, ANSI, IEEE) It is also about being able successfull experience in the calculation of short circuit currents, definition of earthing systems and stray currents assessment... You should also be able to conduct research and validation of components and subsets, semiconductors, magnetics, fuses, Network power simulation for railway (metro, tramway, train) and coordination of protections should be things in which you have a strong interest ideally demonstrated experience... You should have first class communications skills as you actively participate to commitees. Being curious is also an asset as you will have to learn a lot in order to meet the industry standards. Other tasks include designing tests and typing tests supervision. Preparing RAMS, AMDEC,and LCC folders will also be part of your role. So you must either already know these, OR be willing to leard... Finally, good knowledge with MATLAB SIMULINK as a user
