An opportunity has arisen for an Arboricultural Consultant/Surveyor to join our professional and friendly team, assisting us in delivering an excellent service to our key clients which include Highways, Local Authorities, housing associations, infrastructure and the private sector.
The role is a busy varied one and the work includes, tree inspections and hazard identification including mitigation specification, tree condition reports, arboricultural method statements and impact assessments, pest and disease identification and management proposals, BS:5837 surveys and all services provided by CES to the UK based clients.
The role will be working remotely from home, covering all work locations and clients. Our work covers large parts of England and Wales from South Coast to Midlands area and the flexibility to be able to spend nights away, driving to locations and the ability to work remotely are key skills that are essential to this role.
You are able to work autonomously as well as part of a small team. You would describe yourself as highly proficient and organised and can prioritise tasks and manage your own workload. You are flexible in your working approach and pride yourself as being approachable, proactive, ambitious and creative. You are keen and eager to learn as continued professional and personal development will be provided and progression and further education is encouraged.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Suitably qualified to minimum level 3/4 qualification in Arboriculture or equivalent.
• A full, clean driver's licence
• Proficient in Microsoft office
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work flexibly and away from home
• Minimum of 2 years' experience of arboricultural inspections and delivering services within a commercially competitive environment is desired
• Ecological and wider environmental experience or habitat management is desirable.
• Professional Tree Inspection qualification
