Office/Home/Field Based (with extensive travel across East Anglia including London)

Due to new investment in our company, we are now seeking a Business Development Manager to join us and play a key role in company growth.

This is the ideal role for a business development professional from the air conditioning sector to advance their career with our long-established, growing company.

Our growth is due to new investment in the company as we look to expand our market share and bring new customers on board. For the right person, this means that there may be future opportunities to develop into a Sales Director role with enhanced activities, management responsibilities and increased rewards.

What’s more, we’ll provide support for your day-to-day activities meaning that you will be provided with some inbound leads and support for account management activity so that you can focus on what you do best.

The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will be tasked with creating new business opportunities for our air conditioning, ventilation and heat pumps with commercial businesses and organisations throughout East Anglia.

In this purely business development role, you will be contacting potential customers, utilising your existing industry contacts and building profitable business relationships.

You’ll be supported with inbound leads and account management from other members of the team and will undertake travel throughout the region (and occasionally further afield) to meet customers, present solutions to them and build great relationships.

We create end-to-end solutions and you will be using your expertise to support the initial phases of the relationship, providing advice and quotes to existing or new customers.

About You

To be considered as a Business Development Manager, you will need:
- Experience of selling VRV and/or VRF solutions
- Industry experience within a business development capacity
- Split air conditioning experience
- A full, valid driving licence
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- The ability to forge professional relationships

Experience with Daikin and/or Mitsubishi air conditioning products would be beneficial to your application. An existing book of industry contacts would also be highly advantageous.
