Our client, a housing provider in Nottingham, are looking for a Governance Manager initially for a temporary period of 6 months, responsible for the effective running of all Boards and Committees, and providing excellent development and support to members. Ensure compliance with GDPR and related regulations across the organisation. Manages the pa support service to the Chief Executive and Company Directors.

Effectively manages the Group's governance structures including the planning of all Board and Committee work. * Ensures governance compliance with related codes of practice, regulations and legislation. * Ensures compliance with all Freedom of Information, Data Protection Act and GDPR requests and related issues. * Provides professional support to Board Members ensuring they are fully supported and equipped to carry out their work including designing Board recruitment, development and succession. * Prepares accurate and timely agendas, reports and minutes for meetings and ensure items are responded to in line with minutes attend meetings * Manages administration across the company, to ensure corporate filing and administrative systems are in place and adhered to. * Provides effective PA and support services to Executive Management Team. * Acts a Company ambassador, promoting the Company's culture and values internally and to other stakeholders * Responsible for managing their team within the Company's culture and values. * Accountable for the team's performance and for the delivery of the team's objectives and develop staff, Provide professional advice and support on governance to a range of stakeholders. * Actively promotes putting tenants and leaseholders at the heart of everything we do.
Someone with the knowledge and understanding of the framework relating to governance and committee administration, agenda management and interpretation of documents and specific knowledge of GDPR.
