Senior Project Manager
For one of my leading financial clients I am urgently looking for a Dutch speaking Senior Project Manager for a long contract in the Netherlands.
- HBO/WO educated
- At least 5 years experience as project manager in financial services
- Experience with multi-project management in a program context
- Experience in the pension/financial industry is a very strong advantage
- IPMA C and/or Agile Prince2 certified
- Experience with working in an Agile environment
- Must be fluent in Dutch.
As a Senior project manager, together with the program manager, the senior project managers of Market Orientation, Customer Management & Communication and Analysis & Design, and the senior project manager of Business Implementation, you will manage my clients financial program. You are responsible for the overall delivery (construction) of new/adapted products, systems and processes as a result of new financial legislation.
You manage the projects WVP+, NPC, Data Quality & Savings, New Customer Processes and Basic Administrations, supported by project managers and in cooperation with supported by project managers and in cooperation with the product managers and IT managers. You Have a seat in the program team.
Together with the project managers (this differs per project), you support the various product lines of my client has in the area of delivery, budget, planning, issue and risk management and dependencies. The content of your projects is led by a collaboration of product managers (senior users), product owners and architecture. The ICT managers are responsible for the support in the area of resourcing and the production processes. These mentioned persons/functions are your primary collaboration partners.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitoring delivery, planning and budget:
o You will work with your project managers (varies by project) to ensure alignment of the backlogs with the product owners and product managers. This results in plans of action.
o You identify bottlenecks, dependencies and risks in the area of budget and planning and and discuss these during the program team meeting.
o You report periodically on your projects (progress report, resource claim, financials, plans).
o You are the discussion partner of product managers, product owners, architect, any suppliers, supply chain partners and IT managers in the area of budget and planning.
o You have the overview of project costs and communicate them to the program manager.
In this, you coordinate with the Program Management Office (PMO).
Management of risk, requirements and issues management:
o You facilitate the preparation of Risk Self Assessments (RSAs) and internal and external audits.
o You maintain the RSAs/risk logs with the risk manager.
o You monitor compliance with control measures.
o You monitor the definition and implementation of the requirements.
o You maintain the issue log.Support product managers and product owners in managing dependencies between projects and work groups projects and working groups:
o You draft pieces for the Portfolio board and submit them through the PMO.
o You monitor the requests that are submitted to other teams by the product owners and support them in this.
o You manage any external suppliers and jointly plan their activities. You coordinate rogress with them.
o You organize any external steering committee meetings with the suppliers.
o You coordinate the content of the establishment of service contracts.
o You consult planning issues with chain partners and monitor progress.
o You organize the project team meeting, your coordination meetings with the project managers roduct managers and architecture.
o You maintain an overview of the planned and to be planned activities of your projects and guarding the coherence.
o You ensure alignment of the milestones in the planning and align the derived plans.
o You maintain the project file.
o You provide reports for the Steering Committee through the PMO and the program manager.
Contract: 12 months
