Litigation/Trial Support Professional

Responsible for maintaining and coordinating projects related to the firm's litigation practice working with attorneys, paralegals, IT Staff, and other departmental managers. This individual acts as the primary subject matter expert for trial support, forensics, and e-discovery litigation. Individual will be responsible for trial preparation, in-trial support, and day to day litigation support working directly with attorneys to help leverage technology in the courtroom.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with the procurement of electronic discovery materials

  • Provide guidance and production assistance with large electronic document and email reviews

  • Provide training and support using various electronic discovery software platforms

  • Work with the staff and attorneys to prepare for trial and make necessary adjustments to trial presentation data during duration of the trial

  • Assist with the creation and acquisition of demonstratives and exhibits for trial

  • Evaluate and provide recommendations for litigation technologies hardware/software solutions

  • Support every facet of the hardware/software solution in the courtroom

  • Assist with logistical planning throughout all offices to deliver and support the equipment used for trial

  • Anticipate and proactively problem-solve trial needs and effectively solve unexpected problems or issues encountered

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience working for a law firm or a vendor supporting the mentioned responsibilities

  • Demonstrated success managing complex business processes

  • Extensive IT background in supporting technologies such as, TrialDirector, OnCue, Summation, Relativity, Logikcull, Intuiface, Sanction, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop, and PowerPoint

  • Bachelor's Degree, Juris Doctor, IT Certifications, Ipro Certification

  • Experience interfacing with Document Management Systems such as iManage or Netdocuments preferred

  • Development Skills a plus, such as Java, C++, Python, PHP. .NET, or C# preferred
