Working in partnership with Consilium Recruit they are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager - Construction. The purpose of the role is the support the growth of the Construction sector by identifying, qualify and securing new business. The role is available nationwide with a Liverpool/Coventry Office base.

The Senior Business Development Manager - Construction will identify, qualify and secure new business whilst maintaining client-centric business relationships.
As part of the role you will:
· Deliver revenue growth within the Construction (& Infrastructure) sector.
· Proactively own, maintain and expand key customer / prospect relationships.
· Identify opportunities within existing customer base and external market to create mutual value.
· Understand customer's technological and strategic roadmaps, needs and requirements.
· Develop and maintain strategic/key account plans.
· Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to provide world class outcomes.
· Lead generation, pipeline management and reporting.
The successful candidate for the Senior Business Development Manager - Construction role will possess the following attributes:
A driven, business-winning mindset with strong influencing skills, a good appreciation of technology, excellent communication skills, creative thinking to construct opportunities and a completer/finisher approach to ensure projects are delivered.
A technical background with ideally a level of exposure to industrial/manufacturing sectors and a technically focused degree particularly engineering would be beneficial.
A recognised team player who is driven to initiate and grow new relationships with clients, possessing situational awareness, emotional intelligence and the ability to build rapport quickly with customers.
A client-facing professional with proven ability to form lasting business relationships and conversant with sales and proposal development techniques such as Huthwaite 'SPIN' methodology, Strategic Account Planning and Proposal Development.
