Exciting, newly created FP&A Manager role with a high-growth Manufacturer based in Knutsford.
The purpose of the role is to manage the business forecasting, reporting and budget process. This will involve analysing sales providing insight in to historic and future sales performance by working alongside the commercial team to produce and challenge sales forecast at a granular level. Once sales forecasts are complete this role is responsible for translating that into an overall P&L and Balance Sheet forecast working with operations, the wider finance team and commercial teams to produce an accurate rolling 12 months and 3-year forecast using modeling tools in Excel.
This role will take an active role in the production and stock planning of the business working closely with commercial and operations teams to insure everyone is aligned and the plans are reflective of the overall forecast.
The financial forecasts will be used for external stakeholders as well as proving management with the information needed to drive the working capital and stock holding objectives of the business.
Managing the Manufacturing Accountant, this role forms the team that are the go-to in the business for data and analysis including manufacturing KPIs, product costings and pulling together information from the various data sources and presenting it in a meaningful manner to all levels of the business across all disciplines.
The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant who prefers the Analytical roles over the accounting function or has done a core accounting role and is looking for development into a more analytical, commercial role. It is a role is very hands-on with management responsibility and needs to be someone confident enough to be the person Senior Management rely on to provide accurate information and analysis.

3+ years relevant analysis experience
