A prestigious law firm in London is looking to recruit a confident and enthusiastic Residential Legal Property PA to support a team of fee-earners on an initial 3 month Contract, this is a brand new role as the firm is getting busier and busier with their property team one of the most acclaimed in the UK. This role will also initially be working remotely however they will need applicants who are happy to go in to the office if the need arises. This is a busy department where you will be expected to be a team player as everyone gets on and works hard. Responsibilities will include preparing and editing document to adhere to house style, managing fee-earners’ inboxes and calendars, managing the monthly billing process, managing all AML and compliance requirements, opening new files, ensuring expense claims are submitted in a timely manner, digital dictation, recording client contacts, handling correspondence and emails, as well as any other general administrative responsibilities.
The client is ideally looking for someone who is highly organised with strong interpersonal skills, while experience of working within a Residential Property department is a must. Suitable candidates must have a good knowledge of Land Registry, SDLT, NHBC, Laserforms and Searchflow and must be able to use these proficiently.
The right candidate will also be able to self-manage and be proactive when considering the needs of fee earners and clients. The hours for this role will be 7 hours a day working between 8.30am – 6.30pm on a shift basis, salary is paying up to £32,000 pro rata
