We are currently seeking Pediatric Physical Therapists to provide direct services through Early Intervention (EI), Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE), and/or our Committee on Special Education (CSE) programs. Immediate fee-for-service positions are available. Services can be provided in home-based, school-based, or in one of Liberty POST's sensory gyms.

Backed by Liberty Resources Inc. and part of a large social services circle, originally POST was a speech-language practice in Syracuse NY, and has grown to provide a range of services throughout all of New York State. We employ over 400 professionals in a variety of settings and offer a collaborative team approach utilizing early childhood and clinical best practices. We are focused on the importance of a child's natural learning environment, a family's unique strengths and the needs of the diverse population we serve.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Monitor each child's progress and complete all paperwork, session notes, and reports as required by Liberty POST, the NYC Department of Education and/or other regulatory agencies by specified deadlines • Provide a comprehensive, evidence based treatment • Work toward mastery of each child's gross motor goals and objectives as stated on their IEP using early childhood best practices • Effectively organize and maintain confidentially of each child's records and documents at all times • Collaborate with each child's classroom teacher, parents and other clinicians as needed

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience: • Doctorate in Physical Therapy required • Must have current New York State Licensure • Experience working with infants, toddlers and/or preschoolers preferred • Knowledge of New York State laws/regulations as they pertain to Physical Therapy • Knowledge of MS Word and comfortable with working with databases • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Comfortable working with a diverse population • Bilingual Spanish a plus but not required

Qualifications for CPSE and CSE Programs • Must NOT currently be or have been a DOE employee for a least one year
