Business Consultant, IT Production Support - Product Release

Business Consultant - Product Release | Zurich City | 6 months | Daily rate upon request

For a project at our client's site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for a Business Consultant - Product Release.

In this challenging role, you will ensure a consistent business integration, enabling user and product delivery teams for a smooth transition and sustainable product BAU operation as well as positive user experience aiming the increase product acceptance by providing the best production support and user guidance hands-on.

As of January 1, 2021, UK citizens will need work visa sponsorship in order to work in Switzerland. iET as an employment agency does not sponsor work visas. We can only work with UK citizens if they are already in Switzerland and possess a valid work permit.

Your Qualifications:
  • 5+ years' experience as Consultant/Business Analyst/Project Manager in a large bank working on compliance projects and/or client facing roles
  • Consultancy background or strong business project manager expertise
  • Good understanding of IT processes, technology skills as well as a deep understanding of production support operations and business operations

  • Strong PowerPoint and XLS skills, able to drive senior management presentations until final review without help from other SME's
  • Very good understanding of regulatory projects, business operation, and compliance disciplines
  • Coping with high pressure and complex project and delivery within an agile environment
  • Good communication and presentation skills with a friendly attitude, hands-on and with the ability to interact well with user and clients
  • Fluent in English, German is an asset
Your Responsibilities:
  • Business User Support, direct client interaction on user enquiries
  • Close collaboration with Compliance Operations and other SMEs and Champions on a global scale along the life cycle of our products
  • Coordination and alignment with Product Owners and development teams
  • Incident alignment with all support functions
  • Ensuring proper user onboarding and enablement (eg facilitation of user guidances, training in alignment with our product owners and delivery functions/squad teams)
  • Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and supporting the new solutions with profound data analysis, documentation setup, and hands-on support
  • Ad-hoc task force requests on case basis
  • Providing support with task force activities in the event of critical incidents
  • Handling ad-hoc requests and supporting the Business Integration lead-in topics along the User & Platform Enablement discipline
  • Deputization of the Business Application Owner along with multiple applications
