for an existing contract with one of our direct clients we are urgently looking for a

System Requirement Engineer

Start: ASAP/Duration: 6 months + option for extension/Location: Stuttgart/Slovenia, 50% remote/ProjectID: 4436

Our client is an international automotive supplier with billions in sales, approx.75000 employees and is one of the leading development partners in the automotive industry for over 100 years. As a System Requirement Engineer you will provide the ongoing projects in Stuttgart with your know-how in requirements management for the development of electric drive systems according to Automotive SPICE.

Your tasks:


  • Requirements management for the development of electric drive systems (inverter and/or e-motor) according to Automotive SPICE (SYS.1, SYS.2)

  • Acquisition, preparation and management of customer requirements in the requirements database

  • Planning, organization as well as coordination of customer requirement analysis with internal project teams

  • Responsible for customer requirement baseline, compliance Matrix and exception list

  • Analyze and specify system requirements for drive systems (inverter and/or e-motor) in collaboration with all involved project teams

  • Responsible for system requirements analysis process according to Automotive SPICE

  • Further development and optimization of the requirements management

  • Support of the Automotive SPICE process group eg change request management, configuration management, problem solving management

Your skills:


  • Successfully completed bachelor's degree (B. Sc.)/diploma/master's degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or equivalent

  • At least 3 years of practical experience in the development of complex mechatronic products, preferably automotive drive systems, inverters and/or e-motors

  • Very good technical understanding and knowledge of automotive product development with hardware, software, e-motor, sensor, mechanics

  • Experience in automotive product development with a focus on requirements management

  • Experience in automotive product development with a focus on requirements management

  • Experience in project team coordination

  • Good knowledge of the development process according to Automotive SPICE and ISO26262

  • Good knowledge of automotive system testing and product validation

  • Fluent written and spoken English, German language skills preferable
