An opportunity has arisen to help form a well funded start up to become a household brand-name by helping to shape their IT Applications Support function. You would be part of an exciting time of significant growth and scale for the business.

Salesforce experience would be ideal

Reporting to the Directors you will build the IT Support functions by designing, shaping, maturing and install a service excellence mindset from the start.

You will play a crucial role in the building of the IT service part of this cloud native (AWS) consumer facing organisation

This is not a BAU Head of IT position, but one for a person who enjoys start-up, significant change and transformation, with a broad scope of objectives and complex deliverables. Creating and maturing and shaping a best-in-class, customer service focused IT Applications Support department utilising modern technologies. Therefore, we are seeking a highly experienced manager with demonstrable experience of startups or transforming support functions, including People, process and technology change.

This position will suit a focused senior IT leader, with experience of;

  • Creating, building and shaping and managing best in class, high performing IT operations and services; designing and improving ITIL based operational processes
  • Strong people management; producing high performing teams and driving cultural development/change
  • Managing IT operations and services in a customer service focused businesses.
  • Business partnering; acting as a senior business leader, working with senior stakeholders across other technology functions (Data, Digital, Transformation) and the business, to support strategic direction.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience of transforming delivery models, outsourcing services, partnering with 3rd party suppliers and vendors to achieve commercially beneficial outcomes
  • Strong compliance and Information Security knowledge, with experience of embedding and maturing Security Operations
  • Strengths in EUC, with experience of delivering/managing new builds/rollouts, asset management and generally improving customer satisfaction.
  • Salesforce experience
