Oracle Financial Analyst

Looking for an experienced and dynamic Oracle Financials business analyst to work within the Oracle applications team. You will be involved in both the support of Oracle Financials and be instrumental in upcoming deployments of E-business suite. Functional experience of the financials modules, OPM Financials and sub-ledger accounting is a must have. Also looking for cross module experience with the Oracle Supply chain modules such as Purchasing, Order Management and Inventory and their touchpoint interfaces with Financials.
A strong candidate will have 8 plus years of Oracle Financials experience across IT and the business. Will serve as the contact and liaison between the business and IT department while supporting new projects as well as daily task monitoring and issue resolution.
Successful candidates will have the following experience and skill set:
Extensive deployment, configuration and support experience within Oracle E-business Suite Release 12 is essential.
In-depth knowledge of Oracle Financials Release 12 (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, E-business Tax and Trade Management).
Experience of Process OPM Cost Management or discrete costing.
Be familiar with supply chain modules, such as PO, OM, INV and Advanced Pricing.
Exposure to Enterprise Planning Modules for example PBCS and Analytics/BI.
Experience of deploying Oracle E-business suite across multiple sites.
Worked with 3rd party consultancy teams and external software vendors.
Proven track record of implementing the Oracle Financials modules successfully.
Experience of business process modelling and development and execution of training.
Evidence of theoretical knowledge and understanding of the many key financial processes (such as sub-ledger accounting and cost management).
Experience of Oracle Workflow, AME and Alert and EDI functions.
In depth knowledge of the underlying tables of the Financials modules, and use of SQL and SQL based tools to interrogate them. Experience of developer tools for report writing would also be a bonus, along with XML and XML publisher.
Experience of delivering documentation sets and deliverables from Oracle AIM or OUM.
Excellent communication skills, confident in presenting and good organizational skills.
