DWH Architect

- 6 Month Contract initially (plus further extensions to take it far into next year)

- ASAP Start Date

- French & Dutch speaking (fluent in at least one)

- Remote at the beginning, then onsite in Brussels after Covid. Possible flexibility of a few days remote a week after Covid

The Data Architect will have strong DWH Experience needed to analyse data flows and report requirements matching them to available data in the DWH. You will also identify gaps and what data is missing to create reports, as well as building plan to close these gaps.
You must have a strong analytical mind to understand data flows and where their coming from to where their going.

About the role:
Required skills: strong analytical skills, experience with data warehouses, knowledge about accounting in banks, understanding of COREP and FINREP,
Experience: medior/senior

About the project:
Team: support services (finance, risk, security, compliance, applications team)
Data architecture: Analysis of current data warehouse setup in the domain of risk and finance reporting (COREP, FINREP, ). eg What are the data flows to feed the reporting? What data are missing in our data warehouse in view of the legally required reporting? How does our data architecture landscape need to evolve in view of the risk and finance reporting?
In context of integration: Draw future architecture landscape together: if and how to implement the operational data layer, data store, data warehouse, data marts,
Preparation of projects: Analyze integration of new applications/services into the current landscape
