About the Role:
We are currently looking for a full-time Account Receivables Accountant to join our growing AR team.
The position is ideally based in either Nærum, Denmark or one of our UK Sites (Royston or Sheffield) but will form part of a global team.
You will join our dedicated AR department where you will play a critical role in supporting both our internal and external customers.
The role has a wide scope as we are responsible for Account receivables globally.

You will report directly to the Global Account Receivables Manager and will perform a variety of AR duties, reporting and ad hoc requests.
Additionally, you should be familiar with accounting procedures.
Your daily work will include:
• Incoming payments.
• Creating of manual finance invoices.
• Credit management and release of blocked orders in accordance with company policy.
• Collection of overdue balances.
• Preparing month-end close activities (incl. but not limited to): Monthly GL and AR account reconciliations.
• Preparing and assisting with annual close activities.
• Supporting Internal and External auditors.
• Supporting with standardization, automation and simplification of financial processes in AR.
• Participation financial knowledge sharing sessions.
• Assisting with ERP related projects and ad-hoc projects as needed.
The ideal candidate possesses a service-oriented mentality, strong interpersonal skills, and is self-motivated with a drive for supporting business and Finance.
To be successful, you’ll need a detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy of data in general ledger and source entry systems with an aptitude for understanding complex operations and ideas. This is a great opportunity for the right person who wants to grow with the company.
You hold a degree in Accounting, Tax, Audit, Finance or related field. Further you have min. 5 years of documented experience from a similar position in finance and/or within auditing, ideally in an international organization.
You are able to adapt to new IT systems with ease (Oracle/SAP experience).
