Senior Software Developer

The Information Technology Solution Support contract is designed to address the need for a full range of ITSS in support of the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Naval Air Warfare Centers (NAWC), Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) Headquarters and individual FRC's Information Technology (IT) and related missions and initiatives.
• Lead research, design, and development of computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, apply principles, and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities.
• Coordinate with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems, develop specifications, and performance requirements.
• Develop and maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
MS or MA or MBA degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Mathematics, Management or Relevant Technical Discipline. CompTIA Security+ certification.
Allowable Substitution: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Mathematics, Management or Relevant Technical Discipline plus two (2) years of additional work experience performing the duties similar to the Experience Requirements below may be substituted for a Master's degree.
Experience Requirements: At least ten (10) years of experience performing duties similar to at least three (3) duties found in the Senior Software Developer description.
