As a result of growth across the business, we are currently working in partnership to recruit a part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA) Management Accountant to join their impressive finance team, based in London.
The position of Management Accountant will be suited to someone with an analytical mindset and has a natural entrepreneurial spirit. This position will have an active role in the growth of their US business, with the aim of supporting the wider finance team; ensuring timely and accurate month end closings.
Further responsibilities include:
Preparation of accurate and detailed management accounts, with variance analysis and corresponding commentaries
Monthly journal posting
Produce, analyse and present KPI's to management
Work with budget holders to regularly monitor performance and investigate major variances
Support the US team on finance, marketing & business development issues
The ideal candidate will have previous management accounts experience (at least 3 years) and have experience working within a fast-paced environment, ideally having worked within a similar media/publishing environment. Experience with Sap Business One (desirable). In addition, as an active studier towards a recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA), you'll be ambitious, proactive and have prior business partnering experience.
