We're looking for a talented Sales Executive to work for our client, Europe's leading vending, coffee and refreshment provider.
You'd be joining a UK sales force of 130 split into various regions and sectors, whilst also being part of a European company with an international salesforce of 900, meaning there are international opportunities for progression. The company are continually changing and improving as an organisation, with future growth ambitions. There is quick opportunity for promotion and growth within Sales and Management.
Applications from across London and the South East will be considered, you will be largely home-based however a once weekly trip to the company's Hemel Hempstead office will be required.
The potential of the accounts you'll be managing is not currently optimized. You'll be representing established, respected powerhouse brands with strong reputations in the Workplaces industry across London & the Home Counties.
The Everyday Essentials team sell workplace refreshments: fruit baskets, dairy deliveries, office consumables, workplace catering, tea & coffee etc. The nature of this market is very fragmented and client loyalty is low in the market, meaning there is opportunity to optimise and uplift almost every client.
You'll be given autonomy to run your patch as if your own business. The UK business is the leading and fastest growing wholesale channel in the Group. You will also gain experience dealing with household names.
You'll be managing a portfolio of around 150 key accounts both remotely and in field: we anticipate a shift to remote-based meetings upon client request. Client accounts range from £5k - £25k, and a total portfolio worth of circa £1million in revenue, with targets to grow this by 20% - 30% YOY. You'll be targeted on 20 - 30 formal client appointments per month, which includes a mixture of generic account reviews and opportunities to upsell.
Alongside Account Management, strongly supported by a Client Experience Team, you'll also be tasked with New Business Development, with very warm leads in through a mixture of internal leads and referrals from existing clients.
- Experienced in B2B sales, with experience selling long-term contracts and leasing desirable but not essential.
- FMCG background (consumable, office stationary etc) is transferable, selling into Workplaces or Corporates ideal
- Degree educated, minimum 2.1
- A high-achieving salesperson with a history of hitting and overachieving on targets/KPIs (we'll need proof!)
- Accustomed to a high volume of client calls/meetings, self-motivated to meet stretching targets (20/30 meetings p/m)
- Experience putting together a business plan in order to identify the right clients to target with the right products offering
- A consultative and collaborative relationship builder, strategic, innovative, with a tenacious and upbeat attitude
Basic salary: Offering an excellent package of between £24k - £28k, plus £4.8k car allowance and commission (realistic OTE Year 1 £48k). Top earners within UK Sales genuinely earn £100k+ plus.
