My esteemed client based in Kettering are looking to recruit an excellent new member of staff to join their team as a Sales Executive. We are looking for somebody who is confident, personable and comfortable making outbound sales calls.
This is the ideal role for somebody looking to start their career within sales. You will get the training and support you need, my client has a very friendly and family orientated team, where everybody is encouraged to develop. All they ask in return is for your passion and willingness to help them service their clients needs.
As a Sales Executive your duties & responsibilities will consist of:
Effectively develop your sales area by proactively targeting market sectors, key customers, upcoming opportunities & significant postcodes
Negotiate and close sales by following up all quotations and new business leads with key decision makers such as architects, quantity surveyors, local authorities, building contractors and end users.
Follow up all projects in a timely manner, using effective project manage to secure specification and/or order.
Provide efficient, knowledgeable & effective customer service to secure maximum business opportunities & encourage repeat business by developing relationships with all customer groups.
Effectively develop your area through proactive, focussed new business and efficient management of new leads.
Offer technical advice and information to our customers as required
Preparing various monthly, weekly or daily sales analysis to identify new opportunities.The Sales Executive will have:
Desire to succeed, showing a genuine hunger & commitment to be the best they can be at their job and / or show a real want to develop & progress in their career
Speed of learning & information retention, Having the ability to board new information quickly, understand it & re-present it clearly
Ability to engage in & hold a conversation succinctly whilst demonstrating clarity & confidence
Demonstrable English language skills, i.e. grammar, punctuation and the ability to re-present information in their words
Ability to manage their day effectively & efficiently, doing the right things at the right times
Build rapport quickly & professionally with prospects & clients over the phone
Willingness and confidence to integrate & bond with the internal team
Naturally confident whilst remaining humble
Willing & able to think for themselves & act accordingly
