Our client is recruiting a Senior Biomedical Engineer covering their London sites. The role will be home based but will frequent travel around the different London hospital locations.

This role is suitable for candidates with 5 years Biomedical Engineering experience.
Provision of daily on-site repair, preventative maintenance and asset management of medical devices within specified hospital locations. To work with and support the site / team leader in achieving contract KPI's. Complete all associated administrative work in completing repairs and preventative maintenance as outlined in procedures. Support customers when ever needed to ensure minimal disruption to the operation of the hospital.
To develop and support an in-house skill set to manage specialist equipment, namely (but not restricted to) Anaesthesia and Ventilator equipment.
To travel as required and develop relationships with customer representatives in this specialist area, promoting confidence and competence in the management of these technologies.
Perform actual servicing and repairs as needed. To develop and foster relationships with specialist medical device OEMs to both manage external service contracts as well as enhance our ability to service these devices in house with parts, training and interventions as required.
To work with and support operational leaders and Managers in achieving contract KPIs.
To complete all associated administrative work in completing repairs and preventative maintenance
To support customers whenever needed to ensure minimal disruption to the operation of the hospital.
To build long-term relationships with customers, subcontractors and staff to ensure responsiveness and support to customers.
Maintaining service documentation in line with business requirements
Responsible for escalating and defining necessary resources required to maintain specialized equipment.
Liaise with 3rd party suppliers for spare part and contract quotations as needed

Certified OEM trainings
3 - 5 Years in biomedical setting.
Patient monitoring, diathermy's (electro surgery units), Theatre tables, Defibrillator's, Infusion & volumetric devices, Anaesthesia equipment, Ventilation devices equipment
Familiarity with appropriate national and local regulatory standards
A minimum of five years' Biomedical experience
Qualification in Engineering, electronics, or medical technologies such as biomedical engineering, desirably at bachelor's level
