Graduate Technical Writer / Technical Author

Are you a recent graduate that enjoys writing/documentation looking for an entry into IT in London? Our exciting client are a European Software House that develop & implement cloud computing applications. They require a Graduate to start as a Technical Writer / Technical Author.

You will have a minimum 2:1 Degree, with Excellent A ‘Level Results. Exposure to Software or basic knowledge of HTML beneficial.

The role will involve:

* Maintaining the content and design of the company’s Help Centre.

* Writing articles for Line Managers, Administrators and Developers.

* Writing Release Notes and customer focused Release E-mails.

* Creating tutorial videos (screencasts)

* Maintaining API Documentation for their system.

You will have:

* Minimum 2:1 in your first degree (Ideally Computing, Maths, Engineering or English)

* Excellent communication skills

* Keen interest in Technology and IT. (Software Understanding beneficial)

* Basic HTML or willingness to learn

* The ability to write clear and effective documentation for a wide audience.

* Well organised, a self-starter and a quick learner.

* Quality focused with outstanding attention to detail.

It is advantageous if you have previous experience of using documentation tools like Madcap, RoboHelp or ScreenSteps.

This is a fantastic opportunity in this expanding organisation, offering on the job training and career progression.

Currently WFH due to the COVID-19 restrictions but you will be required to work from the office 2/3 days a week once restrictions lifted, you will not have to commute to Central London every day.
