This job is advertised by Red Recruitment 24:7 who are acting as recruitment consultants for our Brigg based client. Our Client requires a Administration Assistant to join their team on a one year contract too cover maternity leave.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, your main mission will be to support the branch
operations department by carrying out a wide range of administrative tasks, including the
accurate recording and control of customer contracts, implementing the quality management
system and managing inventory levels. This is a temporary role to provide cover during a
period of maternity leave. It is full-time and is expected to be for 12 months duration.
Enter hire agreements and return deliveries into the rental management system.
Process equipment transfers in the rental system.
Order/purchase goods (spare parts, PPE, consumables) and services
(transportation, cleaning) on behalf of the Operations Manager.
Maintain the purchase order register and verify supplier invoices
Prepare the quarterly inventory and monitor discrepancies
Book our teams on customer deliveries
Answer incoming calls promptly and effectively
Respect the safety rules and internal procedures in force
Successfully completed a secondary level education,
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a demanding administrative support
Experience in an industrial/technical environment is advantageous but not essential
Good oral and written communication skills are vital
Computer literateproficient in Microsoft Office and willing to learn additional in-house
Strong team player with good interpersonal skills and customer service skills
Proactivity, rigourability to prioritise, with the desire to be a key part of our successful
and busy team
