At its core, this role involves architecting, designing, and implementing the electrical systems and electronics hardware elements working within a multi-disciplinary team of mechanical, electrical, software and UI designers through all stages of the product design life cycle.

Our products contain intelligent motion control systems, so you will have an excellent understanding of positional motor control, digital and analogue sensors, custom PCB design, PLC integration and data processing.

As with any innovation role, what you know now, won’t be enough – so you will be curious and hungry to learn more to fill any gaps in your knowledge and experience and keep pushing the boundaries of what we can do together.

System architecture design of all electronics hardware, control systems and software.

Circuit design, schematic capture and PCBA layout, prototyping, testing and validation.

Leading certification for all electronic hardware within new products, with strong EMC/ ESD/ FCC testing certification knowledge.

Component selection, BOM generation and RFQ package compilation including creation of all drawings, assembly instructions and technical specifications (in Altium, AutoCAD or similar eCAD packages).

DFMEA, PFMEA, Design for Manufacturing and Testability, Value Engineering

Designing and building automated test rigs to test electrical, mechanical and motion control systems.

Building electronics prototypes to test hardware proof of concept

Strong Degree in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering

5+ years successful commercial experience with many examples of industrial or consumer products with electronics you have designed and engineered that demonstrate how you have tackled similar challenges we will need to overcome in the future. This is a hands-on development role, not a management role.

Strong school grades & background.

Driven, curious, collaborative, inventive and tenacious to get the job done and work within a tight knit Development team.
