Job Title: Internal Sales Executive

Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire

Salary: £20,000 to £25,000 pa

Contract: Permanent, full time

Purpose of the role:

To maintain and expand external sales and profit from your assigned client base. Identify and develop key client prospects, and work closely with colleagues to achieve overall business targets.

This is a pro-active position which will suit an individual who has previous Customer Service and / or Account Management experience. Enjoys working in a busy team and working towards both shared and individual business Goals!

The Role:

* To pro-actively approach new and existing client accounts, with a view to increase sales

* Logging all information and correspondences on internal CRM System

* To research and decide on prospect client list, and agree methods to obtain the business and reporting progress on individual client accounts

* Develop contacts and client relationships, with a view to be their first point of contact when placing orders, be familiar with customer regular requirements

* Follow up new business leads promptly and report responses to external representatives of the wider business

* Hold monthly meetings with external Representatives, to discuss your client account activity

* Understand the properties and applications of the Company’s full product range

* Be aware of competitive activity and to report changes in the marketplace

* To work towards procedures in accordance with the Company’s Standard Practice Instructions (SPI’s)

* Assist the Inventory Controller in ensuring accurate stocks are maintained, to service customer requirements

* Processing customer claims for credit, within a prompt and efficient manner – working closely with credit control and other team members

* Maintain regular contact with all your personal key clients and target accounts

* Ad-hoc administration tasks as and when required
