About the role

This role will be responsible for maintaining a fantastic working relationship with advisers across multiple regions. To do this, you will have an excellent knowledge of the products and services Octopus investments offer and a passion for building relationships with adviser.

This is a new role, so you will need to be open minded and flexible. As it will be varied based on the region you will need to be organised and self-motivated.

You will work alongside experienced Business Development Manager(s) helping them build, track and execute their business plan.

Essential Job Functions

* Provide a personalised service to advisers in your region(s) who need urgent or bespoke information for their clients

* Work with the Business Development Managers to identify new advisers and key players to target

* Speak to financial advisers to provide information on existing clients they are due to see

* Support the creation and delivery of model weeks and model months

* Collaborate with the Business Development Managers and Sales Support to develop analytics dashboard and sales focused insights for the region

* Organise events for the region(s) – including sending out invites, booking the venue, ensuring high attendance levels and managing responses

* Prepare daily qualified call lists for BDMs

* Liaise with the Strategic Partnerships and OI Marketing teams to mine and qualify potential opportunities

* Use sales tools to create presentations for events the BDMs will run

* Complete research on Financial advisers on behalf of region(s)

* Provide specialist knowledge to advisors with relevant changes/ updates

* Speak to financial advisers to provide information on existing clients they are due to see

* Chase ISA transfers where applicable

* Promote events to advisers by phone and email

* Complete research on financial advisers on behalf of region(s)

* Maintain data on the financial advisers in your region(s)

* Ensure that notes on the CRM system meeting notes are of the highest quality and highlight all future opportunities
