IT System Engineer - Privileged Access Control

Overview of contract

On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution in Zürich, we are looking for a technical engineer with a strong understanding of Linux and Red Hat platforms to help build security and privileged access controls and frameworks.

Main responsibilities

  • Work within the Security area within the Group Technology Infrastructure and Security Engineering area of the bank to provide privileged access management solution to all platforms.

  • Focus on identity management for users; access management for applications and infrastructure, directories, detecting/preventing measures for cyber threats.

  • Design, plan and deliver sustainable solutions using modern programming languages

  • Provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new software projects and initiatives to support and enhance our existing applications

  • Conduct code reviews and test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture and design and other phases of SDLC

Your skills:

  • Software engineer/developer focused on Linux/Red Hat platforms and environments

  • Understanding of Privileged access tools such as: PowerBroker, Centrify, Sudo

  • Scripting knowledge in Perl, Bash and Python desirable

  • Know how to apply standards, methods, techniques and templates as defined by the SDLC GitHub, GitLab and JIRA will be advantageous

  • Design, plan and deliver solutions in a large scale enterprise environment

  • A security background and privileged access knowledge would be of benefit.
