Service Desk Analyst

Service Desk Analyst needed for this blue-chip investment business. Working as part of a small team, in a predominantly Windows environment, this is a technical role and as well as taking and resolving service desk calls will be managing servers and cloud technologies to support the business.
Technically, the right Service Desk Analyst is likely to have worked in an ITIL Environment (ideally be ITIL certified) and have a good mix of
Directory, Group Policy, WSUS, MDT, Windows Server 2012 and above, Windows 10, Microsoft Exchange Online, Azure etc.
Experience supporting macOS and iOS devices.
Solid experience working with Office 2016 and above.
Experience of supporting products and applications available in Microsoft 365 including Intune and Autopilot.
Server virtualisation experience within VMware and Hyper-V.
Working knowledge of remote desktop services, Microsoft RDS preferred.
Solid experience with backup and restore technologies, Veeam preferred.
A good working knowledge of networking fundamentals (DHCP/DNS/IP Subnetting/VLANS)
Risk aware with good working knowledge of information security fundamentals.
Experience responding to security incidents and escalating where necessary.
Solid working knowledge of security products such as Mimecast, Sophos, Meraki System manager etc.
First class communication skills are a must as is a demonstrable track record delivering world class customer service to stakeholders at all levels within a business.
