We are recruiting two Materials Scientist / Inorganic Chemist positions to join our manufacturing and R&D team based in Pembridge. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary

As our Materials Scientist / Inorganic Chemist, you will be responsible for carrying out laboratory tasks and operating various pieces of laboratory and pilot equipment. You will be required to travel to various sites to assist in the hands-on delivery of new technologies. You will also be expected to continuously develop products & knowledge of inorganic-based chemistries, technologies and processes to be able to further assist in the function of your responsibilities.

What we are looking for in our Materials Scientist / Inorganic Chemist:

You will have a degree level in materials science, inorganic chemistry or physical science discipline. Alternatively, a knowledge or experience of working in an Inorganic or materials science development or test laboratory would be considered You will have excellent numeracy skills and an analytical mindset. You will be competent in the use of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word and Outlook), and be a confident communicator both verbally and written.  It would be beneficial to have some knowledge of the UK construction/manufacturing or cement industry and products but this is not essential.
