MMP Consultancy are currently working with a fantastic organisation to recruit a temporary Young People & Mental Health Service Manager based in London.

The role will be working from home and also visiting the schemes and office.

The job purpose is to take overall responsibility for Young People & Mental Health Services ensuring services are operating in accordance with service specifications and liaise with key stakeholders. As well as take the overall responsibility for ensuring that Supported Housing Scheme and Floating Support Services for people with mental health issues are operating according to agreed targets and liaise effectively with partners.

Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out staff supervision, support, performance monitoring and target setting to improve performance
* Undertake comprehensive record keeping and budget monitoring
* Monitoring operational outcome indicators and KPIs in order to continuously improve performance
* Take the lead by prioritising and solving problems in tangible ways
* Lead the Social Investment and Community Development activities including employment and training, volunteering, financial inclusion, digital inclusion, resident engagement and community based social inclusion initiatives
* Lead a team to develop and deliver the services to multiple communities
* Carry significant responsibility for safeguarding
* Complete quarterly reports in accordance with service requirements
* Ensure that high quality support and assessment services are provided to customers
* Manager customer's Individual Support Plans and ensure that needs, risk and outcome assessments are carried out and reviewed
* Ensure that adult safeguarding and child protection incidents are reported and managed in accordance with the clients policies

Key Knowledge & Experience:
* Knowledge of issues facing people with mental health problems or homeless/vulnerable people living in the community
* Knowledge of issues in relation to young, vulnerable people with multiple needs
* Knowledge of issues facing unaccompanied asylum seeks
* Knowledge of the Welfare Benefits system
* Knowledge of providing housing related support
* Experience of providing support or resettlement services to vulnerable people
* Significant experience of managing complex and varied safeguarding cases
* Experience of managing a team
* Experience of liaising with social services, health agencies and voluntary organisations
* Developing services for vulnerable service users
* Ability to do rotas for staff
* Enhanced DBS
