The Brand Manager will support the International Business Unit to contribute to shaping the delivery of the companies ambitions in international markets

Responsible for brands in Australia, USA and Canada


-Support the Marketing Controller to build and sell in the 3-year plan for your area of responsibility based on local consumer insights and in collaboration with cross-functional team.
-Leverage UK portfolio and innovation pipeline where relevant, whilst rigorously identifying need and opportunities for bespoke NPD with scale. Shape brand assets and in-market execution & portfolio to win in local markets, balancing the need for localisation vs scale.
-Build compelling yearly brand plans for key markets in line with agreed 3-year plan and innovation pipeline. Ensure brand plans are translated into customer-facing sell in documents, and lead presentation of the plans to retail partners in markets. Including but not limited to range management and EPD/NPD
-Act as the commercial owner for all EPD/NPD in your area of responsibility. Lead innovation projects through the gate process based on well thought through consumer, category and shopper rationale and rigorous business cases to ensure maximum chance of in-market success
-Deliver constant monitoring of performance of brand(s) and NPD in key markets, and recommend contingency plans to ensure financial targets are met
-Develop strong understanding of international markets from a consumers and customers point of view, and key challenges across markets
-Work closely with Activation Brand Manager to foster best-in-class shopper marketing activations
-Form extremely strong connections cross-functionally within the business, specifically with Projects Managers, Category Management and teams in markets to facilitate successful delivery of commercial and consumer plans
-Build relationship within UK teams for constant flow of information; sharing insights, best practices and details on upcoming plans.

Experience and Qualifications

-Degree Qualified in relevant discipline (BA/BSc)
-Commercial and analytical acumen
-Excellent communication skills
-Experience working in a FMCG environment
