Are you an experienced Financial Analyst known for your inquisitive mind, meticulous attention to detail and superb coordination of data? We have a great opportunity right now in our brilliant Finance team, to create and own the financial interface of the group reporting. You’ll take ownership for the complex revenue recognition, project and product analysis, and you’ll be digging deep into the detail to identify areas of leakage to ensure the company’s growth is supported by reports and metrics to allow informed decisions. If you are an experienced, part qualified CIMA or ACCA Financial Analyst, and looking for an opportunity to enhance the finance function to be a value adding resource, we’d love to hear from you!
The role…You’ll be responsible for monthly revenue recognition, working closely with teams to understand project costs and delivery, digging deep and understanding the costs of the company, including the lifecycle costs of our products, and create metrics and reports to support decisions for the successful growth of the company. Required experience, skills, and attributes:
- Part or full CIMA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Excellent analytical skills
- Sound understanding of accounting standards
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong commercial awareness
- Great communication skills and able to adapt to audience need
- Detail oriented
- Able to work to tight deadlines
Location...Plymouth (but will be home working for the time being).
