Salary: Up to £55,000 DOE

The service has been providing specialist patient services since 1975 and provides a full range of treatments for heart conditions including diagnostic investigations and interventional cardiac procedures.
We are looking for a Specialist Cardiac Physiologist to work as part of our team performing cardiological investigations which are complex and non-routine. As a Specialist Cardiac Physiologist you will participate in a variety of interventional cardiology procedures including coronary angiography and PCI. You will also be undertaking various cardiac rhythm management procedures including complex EP studies and ablations and device implants and there follow up. You will lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas and work practice within the specialty of Physiology.
The group offer a full induction for all staff to ensure that you feel supported and set up for success in your new role. You will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the regions most experienced consultants, covering a varied and diverse caseload.
Positions are full time (37.5 hours per week) which includes weekends currently (rota), although part time hours may also be considered for the right candidate.
Person Specification: To succeed as a Specialist Cardiac Physiologist you will require the following:
Degree in Clinical Physiology (Cardiology) or equivalent
SCST qualifications levels I and II
RCCP Registration or a clinical scientist registration
Immediate Life Support Qualification
Experience in all angiography-type procedures (IVUS, FFR, rotablation, IABP, temporary pacing wire, TAVI)
Experience in cardiac rhythm management including Electro physiology (carto mapping system) as well as device implantation and clinics.
(Desirable) HRS / IBHRE in device and or EP.
Able to work independently with minimum support
