We are currently recruiting for a Brand Manager on a temporary contract to join the Marketing team at Coventry University. The role requires a strategic and creative thinker with a passion for education and the ability to collaborate with others. The role will ensure that a clearly articulated brand with a consistent and effective brand message relevant for a global audience.

As a Brand Manager, your main responsibilities will be:
*Conduct a through review of existing and new research, intelligence and insight findings to establish how the brand is perceived internally and externally, develop a core proposition/framework and create relevant messaging to show its application across the Group
*Support the development of a clear brand architecture, strategic positioning and values for the Group and communicate this to key stakeholders to ensure brand consistency is delivered across the Group
*To oversee the creation of an overarching set of brand guidelines that clearly articulate our brand proposition, visual identity and tone of voice across our full range of communication channels and audiences. To subsequently oversee the creation of supporting guidelines covering relevant subsidiaries and key campaigns
*Audit and review all existing internal and external signage across the Group
*Working with external and internal design provision and internal stakeholders across the Group to help develop specific campaigns to raise our profile across student recruitment and research, enterprise and innovation
*Manage and report on budget
*Work effectively with other departments with Marketing External Affairs to review existing content and ensure future compliance and consistency of application of brand strategy in external-facing material and communications

Skills and experience required for the role:
*Degree in a discipline with a strong marketing focus or a degree with equivalent work experience
*Experience within Brand Manager and Marketing
*Strategic thinker
*Proven track record of building brands
*Up to date with latest trends and marketing practices
*Attention to detail
*IT literate, able to us MS Word, Excel and Social Media platforms
*Good communication skills
*Team player
*Effective collaboration
*Adaptable and flexible to meet with business deadlines
*Good oral and written skills

Hours/Pay Rate:
Monday to Friday 08:30pm - 17:00pm
£17.76 p/h
